What type of Home to buy and Where?

Most home buyers already think they know this, but how much research have you done? This is one of the biggest investments you are going to ever make. If you were to require surgery, wouldn't you do some research into your doctor? You should do some research into the area you are going to buy a home in as well.

South Florida offers a variety of different types of homes, from Beach Condos to Ranches. Depending on what you can afford, and the are you are interested in there might be several factors to consider.

Maybe you like an area, but the single family homes in that area are more expensive than you can afford, would you consider a townhouse or condo in that area? Or maybe you want a Condo, but if you could afford a single family home, would that be better in the long run?
